RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. Each band has to prepare 3 songs for audition: ALL cover songs have to be Japanese songs, no English, Malay, Cantonese or Mandarin songs allowed since this is solely a Japanese Rock event. You can choose to audition with 3 original songs if all 3 of your original songs are in Japanese, or else you are required to audition with two Japanese cover songs and one original English song. All 3 songs that were used for audition are to be perform on stage if the band passed the audition.
2. Audition will be hold on 20th and 21st December 2008. Schedule and venue for each band will be email to band leader one week before the audition date. Band with late arrivals of any members after 15 minutes of the respective time during audition day will be disqualified.
3. A full drum set, amplifiers, microphones, and P.A. system will be provided. Musicians need to bring their own instruments (e.g: keyboard, bass guitar, electric guitar). Extra charges will be taken if musicians were to borrow any instruments in the studio. (Including guitar pick and drum sticks.)
4. Registration forms should be handed in by 1st December 2008, before 6 p.m. Late submission will not be accepted.
5. Registration fee for each band is RM 50. Fees can be paid on the audition day itself.
6. Each band is required to send in their band profile, pictures or website (if any) to the organizer as a record.
7. Spirits of Music event will be hold on 21st March 2009. Each band is given maximum time of 30 minutes on stage during the performance day (approximately 6 songs), inclusive of your original songs (max: 3, if any).

Just copy and paste the registration form to your email and send it to our official gmail. Ermm, so far we dun have any age limit, as long as you are not like 11 or 12 it shld be fine ^^
so it's either:
- 3 Japanese covers
- 3 Japanese originals
OR
- 2 Japanese covers and 1 English original.

uhm.... what if we don't know how to make a cover coz we are filipinos.... but we can sing japanese... ^_^
i mean... i don't know how to translate words... all i know were basic japanese words... (--,)
but... we really wanted to join...
well, u can choose to play cover songs then, don't have to compose your own.
Btw, just so you din notice, this event will be held in Malaysia.

is there any restriction or injunction compelling people from playing/covering a similiar song ?
do we have to provide our own "pamasahe" if ever we are accepted?
