Let us bring you the details behind the scene...
On 20th March
Sunway Management actually allowed our stage crews to do the setup at 10 p.m. However, due to the inconvenience for our venue partner, The Republic Bar for the business that night, the set up was postponed till 1 am on 21st March.
Midnight 1 am on 21st March...
Rain was pouring down Klang Valley area, therefore the set up was again postponed till 2 am because Motif's crews were unable to unload the equipments. -_-"
Luckily Jay has Stif as a companion during the stage set up, or else he will collapsed in no time.
* Jay: "The process of setting up a huge stage like this is.... breathtaking."
7 a.m....
Ultimate Music provided us with the backline supplies. We appreciated the effort of Ultimate Music's owner, Mr. Tian Long for waking up so early to pass us the equipments (they are closed on Saturdays).
9 a.m...
We apologized for all the waiting and suffering for hours under the hot sun to all the performers who were there on time for the sound check. Due to a lot of technical problems, the sound check was delayed for 3 hours =,=''
We were very very grateful that the weather was beautiful that day. Except that the sun was mercilessly hot and the wind were so strong that caused Jay, our floor manager, Jason and assistant floor manager, Nicole to have suffer from sun burn.* Jay's skin is still peeling even until today. Just like a snake >.<"
We would like to take this opportunity to show our deepest appreciation to Jason, Nicole, Joanne and Josephine (Jay's sisters) for helping us out during the event. Without you guys, the event will definitely be an unsuccessful one. ;)
These were two of our supporters who reached our venue with their stunning cyber gothic outfit at least 4 hours before we started our event .
6 p.m....
Yosh! We are all set for this year's most happening Japanese music show case in Malaysia~!
Our ticketing crews..
Our official make up sponsor, Stella-in were provided a booth to give out free make ups for our audiences that night.
Nicole's tired look after all the running and screaming (I suppose :p)
JRock No Tamashii'09 was supposed to kick start at 7 p.m., but we received a message from Sunway Management informing us that our event had to postpone to 8.30 p.m. because the nearest mosque was having the evening prayer at 7 p.m. and 7.20 p.m.
Despite all the delays during the day, our crowd reached the venue much earlier than the time we stated and waited patiently for the event to start.
7.00 p.m...

There were over 700 of them that night!

From the look of the pictures taken, Kawaii Sakura was obviously one of the most energetic bands during that night! They definitely gave the long waited crowd a great start!

2nd Band, John's Mistress
Fumi undoubtedly had the strongest enthusiasm in playing music. It proves us right when he played guitar while lying on the ground and jumping around crazily with his sick body.

When John's Mistress started playing their original songs, lots of people went :"Hey, i think i heard that song when i was in secondary school!"
3rd Band, Gemini
Best costume of the night! This is how a band show their gratitude and respect to themselves and most importantly, to those who came and watch them play!
4th Band, Endless Eternal
Endless Eternal was one of the fast growing young bands of the night. They improved vastly within a year's time and they are still rocking hard!
5th Band, Flicked Mind
Flicked Mind is actually the youngest (or newest?) band that performed during JRock No Tamashii '09.
They faced a lot of problems finding a drummer. Last heard, Omar joined them 2 months before they perform on stage playing all Tokyo Jihen's songs!

Edmund was no doubt, one of the best drummers of the night!
